- Losing weight — To lose weight, the energy expenditure is more than the energy intake. The calories you eat and drink are less than the calories you burn will help you to lose weight
- Gaining weight — To gain weight, the calories you eat and drink are more than the calories you burn which means the energy intake is higher than energy expenditure.
