Losing weight— To lose weight, the energy expenditure is more than the energy intake. The calories you eat and drink are less than the calories you burn will help you to lose weight
Gaining weight— To gain weight, the calories you eat and drink are more than the calories you burn which means the energy intake is higher than energy expenditure.
